It turns out that it was not as fast as it should be and my little boy had still not moved down enough to allow for the natural progression of labour.
So the doctor decided C-Section it would be... and not tomorrow or next week - nope - in 2 hours time!!!
Of course this caught both me and Wimpie a bit off guard! Wimpie rushed home to fetch my bag and I walked across to the hospital to check in. I must admit that my nerves got the better of me...
And - Voila - 2 hours later we could officially call ourselves "Mommy & Daddy".
Our little boy arrived on Thursday, 4 March @ 14h30 by C-Section at the Netcare Hospital - Pretoria East.
His name: Michael Christiaan Pieterse
Weight: 3.2 kg
Height: 42cm
We welcome him to our world and wish him a beautiful journey!
